A hardy, fast growing, evergreen small climber which has dark green, leathery leaves. Produces a mass of dark purple pea flowers in winter and spring. Grows to 1.5m². Prefers a sunny position in well-drained soil. Great as a groundcover or can be planted to cover fences, trellises and pergolas. Suitable for container planting.
